My artwork showcases my warped sense of humor
formed as a kid by hours in front of the TV watching Bewitched, I Dream of
Jeannie, Gilligan's Island, and John Wayne movies. I work primarily in
collage on canvas. I love layers of color, vintage photos and old papers.
I am intrigued by photos of women with bouffant hairdos, men leaning on
shiny old cars, and children with their dogs. I work full time as a
graphic designer to support my thrift store habit. I am mostly self-taught
from books and magazines, but I have taken classes with Lesley Riley,
Claudine Hellmuth, Karen Eide, Kat Allison, and others.
